TxIsoRail is a programable temperature transmitter that can work with Pt100 and thermocouple sensors for industrial applications. TxIsoRail devices are designed to be mounted on a DIN rail. Users can configure the input type and range of the devices by connecting them to a PC USB port with an interface cable.

Isolated transmitters offer several benefits for electrical instruments. They prevent ground loop effects that can cause measurement errors and noise. They also reduce the interference and instability that can affect sensor readings.

Specification

- Choose from different types of sensors: J, K, T, E, N, R, S, B thermocouples, Pt100 RTD, 0-50 mV, 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA or 0-10 V signals
- Set your own working range according to your needs
- Transmit a 4-20 mA or 20-4 mA signal with 2-wire loop power
- Use a 2 or 3-wire Pt100 sensor with a linearized output
- Compensate for cold junction effects with thermocouples
- Get an optional 0 to 10Vdc output
- Configure the device easily with TxConfig Windows® software
- Connect to a PC via TxConfig interface for configuration
- Adjust the zero (offset) manually with a front key on the TxIsoRail
- Power the device with 12 to 35 Vdc (4-20 mA) or 18 to 30 Vdc (0-10 Vdc)
- Achieve high accuracy: Pt100, 0-50 mV (voltage) and 0-20 mA (current) ±0.20% of full scale. Thermocouples ± 0.25% of full scale ± 1 °C
- Minimize temperature effect: 0.003% of maximum SPAN/°C
- Operate in a wide temperature range: -40 to +85 °C (-40 to 185 °F)
- Protect the sensor from failure: program burnout upscale or downscale
- Fit the device in a small space: 72 mm (H) x 78 mm (D) x 19 mm (W)
- Isolate the sensor input from the output loop: 1000 Vac
- Filter out mains noise: select 60 Hz or 50 Hz filter
